Seek the Lord

Do you ever wake up one morning and you feel like something is wrong? Knowing the reason why, kills what you think, it creates more fear, it gets you feeling afraid? Your heart beating at a higher rate, but you still want to work on it. But what we forget is asking God for help. We are quick to act not knowing what the results will be. Most are the times we act on things on our own. Most are the times we want something and end up getting mad when we lack. Life is full of challenges and problems. There are things we would love to have but we don’t know how to get them. But only God who can give and solve our problems. Matthew 6;33 But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well.

God always provides. No matter how long it takes, He knows the reason why He provided at the time you receive. We should not question His timings for He only knows the reason why. Even when you lack, He knows why you never received it. Acts 1:7 He said to them," It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority".

Many are the times we sleep with our problems and wake up to the same problems. But what I know, is that a prayer to the Lord and presenting all your problems to Him will always make you feel relieved of your troubles. Matthew 7;7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. But after receiving, do you remember to be thankful to Him for it? Why do most people remember God when it comes to asking for our needs? But just after we get what we wanted we don’t remember to thank Him. Saying thank you does not cost anything. Be grateful to the Lord for what you receive for He only will provide. John 3;27 John answered,” No one can receive anything except what is given him from Heaven”

We are told to help the needy, but who do we mean when we say the needy? In my view, the needy is that one who lacks what you have. The streets are full of hundreds of beggars. That one coin or note you drop in their cup means a lot to them. But do you know some of these beggars are pretenders? Some fake their illnesses just for you to have sympathy on them. Some of these beggars are even rich than you think. But we are blinded by what we see to know the real story behind them. But when we give we don’t give them with an intention to make them rich. We give with a mentality of helping them. God blesses when we give with an aim of helping, not only giving. But we have a mentality that those poor than us are the needy. Blessings come from all sides, so giving also to the rich is also helping the needy.

Wake up tomorrow and the after, and change your normal schedule and say a prayer before you do anything. Ask for what you want and be grateful for what you have and what He has done for you. Whether big or small, wide or thin, tall or short, large or tiny it all came from Him, no one else. God does not close His doors to His people, they are ever open. He does not open them only on Sundays and closes them for the rest of the week. Whether it’s on a Monday, Tuesday or a Friday, God’s doors are always open. Every minute we say a prayer, the Lord always hears them. You can never succeed without Lord. If God could close the mouth of the lions for Daniel, part the red seas for Moses, make the sun stand still for Joshua, open the prison for Peter, put a baby in the arms of Sarah, and raise Lazarus from the dead, then He can certainly take care of you. NOTHING you are facing today is too hard for Him to handle. Matthew 19;26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them,” With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible”. You can be a thousand miles away from God but it only takes one step to be at His feet. So say to God,” I need You, Everyday, every moment, every second that I breath, I need You. I am not strong enough on my own. I can never do things without you”

So what’s the need of learning something and keeping it to yourself, why don’t you share, I don’t think it would hurt…
